It all comes back to communication. We need to feel connected to something other than ourselves. Connecting to god or the divine we may observe nature or pray, connecting to other people we may use words in person or online. There are any number of ways to connect.
However, unless people acknowledge that this connectedness is a basic need, and proactively seek out other to connect with, individuals will sink deeper into self delusion and fester in unhealthy ideas. The extreme cases we hear about after lives have been lost.
So is my blog not doing its part to reach others? Well I still connect face to face so I am maintaining my own social health, but should I be doing more to reach others?
